Mohamed Al Hashemi began his career in corporate banking and holds an Executive MBA, a Bachelor’s in Business Administration, and a Higher Diploma in Banking & Financial Services from the Higher Colleges of Technology. Mohamed has completed executive programs at Harvard Kennedy School, Cambridge Judge Business School, the University of Cape Town, and the Governance Institute, with a leadership focus on strategic growth, innovation, and customer experience.
Mohamed Al Hashemi is the CEO of Union Coop and a seasoned leader with 19+ years of experience across entertainment, real estate, F&B, and fashion retail. He serves as Chairman of the Dubai Business Group for Groceries & Hypermarkets, Chairman of Atelier Digital, and Board Member of the UAE Food Cluster.
He is also a Young Global Leader at the World Economic Forum and previously held multiple senior roles at Majid Al Futtaim, including Managing Director of Entertainment and Country Head for Leisure, Entertainment, Cinemas & Lifestyle.
